My favorite thing about BBQ Pete’s is their award winning Puyallup Fair BBQ sauce. My sister and I usually order the Kid’s Plate ($6.49) with beef brisket, bread, fries, and strawberry shortcake. If you don’t want fries, you can choose from the cornbread muffin with honey butter, loaded baked potato salad, smoky baked beans, green salad or chipotle coleslaw. The BBQ sauce comes on the side so you can use as little or as much as you want. There are also 4 different kinds of BBQ sauce on the tables. My dad likes to get the 3-Meat Sampler plate where you can choose from ribs, chicken, pork and brisket. This small restaurant is really cool because you sit inside at long wooden picnic tables and you can wash your hands in this big sink in the dining room. You must give this restaurant a try!
