Best Western PictureWe stayed at the Best Western Plus Landmark Inn when we vacationed in Lincoln City, Oregon this summer. We had a great time there because they had an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and a hot breakfast. The pool was a great place to cool off on the hot days and it was a popular place for kids. There is no need to take a towel to the pool since you can just get the pool towels from the front desk. The sauna was small but hardly anyone used it. The hot tub was a good size and it was nice to warm up in it after swimming for a while.

My favorite part of breakfast was the sausage links but they ran out quickly. They did replace it promptly with sausage patties, though. I made myself a breakfast sandwich with a toasted English muffin, egg and sausage. I also made Belgian waffles and had a mini doughnut. They also have biscuits and sausage gravy. They have a microwave available if you want to warm up the biscuits.

The bedrooms are remodeled and look nice and we enjoyed seeing a glimpse of the bay from our third floor room. The bathroom is really small but includes a shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower. Our room had 2 queen beds and a living room. The living room had a sofa bed and a separate television. The living room always seemed to be a lot colder than the bedroom even though they were only separated partially by a wall.

The best part is that the hotel is a very short drive to the public beach.
