Gnomeo and Juliet

I thought this movie was going to be funny from watching the previews, but it wasn’t very funny and that was disappointing. The only part that I thought was funny is when Gnomeo and Juliet go to the old abandon shed and find a pink plastic flamingo that lost his leg. The only reason I liked that part was because of the flamingo’s funny Spanish accent. This movie is about a blue gnome, Gnomeo, and a red gnome, Juliet, who fall in love by accident. The rest of the movie was boring because the gnomes go into each other’s territory, trash stuff and blah blah blah. I thought the graphics were really good but the story line and jokes...

The Search for Santa Paws

This movie has a bunch of cheesy parts and it’s not a good choice for younger kids because of Santa getting hurt and the orphans being treated badly. The movie starts off when Santa’s best friend dies. Santa then receives a white stuffed animal from that friend’s son. This stuffed animal turns into a real puppy that Santa names Paws. Both Santa and Paws wear a crystal around their neck that makes them immortal. Santa and Paws go to NY City to visit a toyshop but Santa gets hit by a car and loses his memory and gets separated from Paws. Eventually, Santa finds his friend’s toyshop and he is confused for a store Santa so he ends up...

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is an interesting movie where cats and dogs have to work together to save the world. The main plot of this movie is to stop an evil feline named Kitty Galore from using a disc that contains the call of the wild that will make all the dogs in world go crazy. Two dogs, Diggs and Butch, one pigeon, Seamus, and one cat, Catherine, all have to work together to save mankind and save themselves. My favorite part of the movie is when the team of heroes goes to a jail to find a crazy cat that has information to help them locate Kitty Galore. The cat, Mr. Tinkles, is all...

TRON: Legacy

TRON: Legacy is the sequel to the movie, TRON, which was made in 1982. After seeing TRON: Legacy, I really want to see the original TRON. Sam’s dad, Kevin Flynn, is the creator of the video game, TRON. When (Kevin) Flynn disappears, Sam is all alone. Many years later, Flynn’s business partner, Alan Bradley, gets a mysterious page from Flynn’s abandoned arcade and tells Sam. Sam then visits the arcade and finds his dad’s secret office. That’s when Sam gets sucked into the videogame world of TRON. There he meets his dad and a girl named, Quorra. At first I didn’t want to see this movie because the previews on TV looked lame but it was actually pretty good....

Tangled is one of my favorite movies out there. It is a Disney animated movie musical about Rapunzel, (the lost Princess) and a young bandit named Flynn Ryder. They make a deal that if Flynn will take Rapunzel to see the floating lights that happen on her birthday every year then Rapunzel will give Flynn his satchel back (which has a stolen tiara). Rapunzel has a hard time leaving her tower though because Mother Goethel told her to never leave the tower. But Mother Goethel gets to leave the tower everyday. What I personally think is that Mother Goethel is setting a bad example by breaking this rule herself. Rapunzel finally does leave with Flynn and her chameleon sidekick,...

Megamind (Noah)

Megamind is a very funny movie with super strange characters from outer space. Megamind’s home planet was being sucked into a black hole, so Megamind’s parents put him in a space pod with his minion and he got shot into outer space. Metro Man also got shot out into space, but in a much nicer pod, without a minion. Metro Man’s pod lands in a mansion while Megamind’s pod ends up in a jail. The inmates taught Megamind that policemen were bad and that criminals were good, so he was taught that good was bad and bad was good. Megamind then built a tricycle out of license plates with a giant laser on it and blasted the wall so...
